Schedule

Starting from Edinburgh at 08:30
Drumlanrig Castle and Gardens
One of the finest castles in Britain owned by the Dukes of Buccleuch the biggest private landlord in the UK.

Get lost if you can in this open deeply green fresh air of 90,000 acres to wander around in. Or see some of the artwork in the 120 rooms. There is a big adventure playground for the kids. Events hosted throughout the year.
Caerlaverock
a unique triangle of a castle: A Ruin but accessible and gorgeous. Kids love playing with some of the big toys here. They have a really lovely coffee shop for those that don’t want to play or go inside the castle. Nearby is the WWT wetland Centre for sea birds on the sandy coast of the Solway Firth.
Gretna
as part of the return to Edinburgh a stop can be scheduled to visit the Smithy at Gretna Green, where, in days past young English lovers eloped to be married in Scotland, and is still popular today as a venue. There is also a shopping outlet as we approach the main road back to Edinburgh – not through the mountains.
